Farming Initiatives

With a steadfast dedication to fostering community empowerment and alleviating poverty, Auxillium Initiative has embarked on community based farming and adoption of smart agriculture programs in order to achieve improved income status for households and individuals and put an end to the vicious circle of poverty in rural communities.  Our farming initiative is meant to ensure food and nutrition security by increasing production output of maize, rice, and beans as well as oil crops – sunflower, soybeans, simsim and groundnuts.  Furthermore, our farmers are trained on market based agriculture in collaboration with other players in the production chain like wholesale, exporters and processing companies. Auxilium provides the necessary market linkages for our farmers.

Recognizing the pivotal role of agriculture in driving economic growth and social progress, Auxilium Initiatives places special emphasis on empowering local communities through sustainable farming practices. The Farming Initiatives program seeks to enhance livelihoods, promote food security, and improve the overall well-being of underserved populations in Adjumani.
